略读课文，了解短文主要内容；通过观看视频和图片，学习生词，扫除阅读障碍。

让学生分段读课文，既加深了对文意的理解，又巩固学生对于新的语言表达结构的理解和记忆。为读后评价部分的文章复述任务打好基础。并且借助思维导图帮学生理解课文中重难点句子，直观形象，便于学生理解。

通过课文内容的听力训练，不仅进一步理解课文的细节，也训练了学生的听力。 

复述短文实际上是学生对语言的再次组织和运用，实现语言学习的最终目的---学以致用。 

通过掌握的短文信息和掌握的语言，完成写作的任务。培养写作能力的同时，感受了文中小孩上学的困难。

通过本课的学习和观看视频，让学生懂珍惜现在的生活，懂的必须努力学习，帮助他人。

本课时的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第三单元的第一课时，重点在于通过学习如何礼貌地提出请求和征求别人的许可，激发学生的兴趣，培养学生分担家务的习惯，教学以听说为主，将知识目标定位掌握本课时的单词，以及能够用句型“Could you please…?”和”Could I…?”礼貌地提出请求和征求别人的许可。

学情分析

本节课是校际公开课，学生已经学习过本单元，了解并掌握了本单元的内容，所以对本节课的教学内容进行了增减，本节公开课教学重点设置为：让学生熟练地运用本单元的句型和短语进，教育学生如何与人礼貌的沟通；通过谈论家务，学做家务，体会父母劳动的艰辛。
