【教材分析】

本单元以How do you get to school?为中心话题,主要运用How long/How far 询问“去某地的交通方式、时间、距离”,简单描述路线。本课时为本单元的阅读课,我将采用略读和跳读策略,让学生通过已经学会的知识,利用阅读技巧去理解文章;在理解文章的基础上去理解掌握生词的含义,并能够熟练运用文中的生词和短语。在阅读训练的同时,融入听力和写作的训练,不仅让学生熟练掌握课文内容,而且能熟练运用所学的语言对现实生活中的问题进行描述。

【教学目标】

1.知识与能力:

1) 能掌握以下单词和词组:

cross, river, many, village, villager,between, between…and…, bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, dream, cometrue   

2) 阅读短文,获取相关信息的能力能正确流利地阅读短文;能读懂文章内容,并根据问题找答案,能够翻译其中的重点句子和短语。

3)能运用所学语言对各种上学的路线、方式等进行描述。

2.情感态度与价值观:

对比班级学生上学方式与山村孩子的艰辛上学路,让学生懂得珍惜自己的生活和学习条件,从而更加努力地学习,并学会帮助他人。

【教学重难点】

1.教学重点:

1)借助问题理解文本,掌握其中的新单词,短语和句型。

2)通过读、写的训练,让学生们能真正在实际活动中运用所学的知识。

2.教学难点:

在阅读训练中,预测语篇信息和获取具体信息,并对信息进行加工。

2. While Reading

(1)Skimming:

1) Get Ss to read the passage quickly, and answer  the questions: Do the students in the village go to school by bike? Is it  easy for them to get to school?What's the boy's name ?

2)Show a video and some pictures, teach some new  words. 

(2) Scanning

Task1 .Get Ss to read the first paragraph carefully,answer questions: How do the students in the village  go to school?Why do they go   to school like this?

Task2 . .Get Ss to read the second and third paragraph  carefully, answer the following questions :How old   is he?Is he afraid to take a ropeway? Why?What is the  villagers’dream?

Task3 . Get Ss listen to the recording ,fill in the blanks.

For the students in the village, it is _______ to  get to the school.

They have to cross a very ___ river between their  school and the village.

They cannot go by boat because the  river runs too _______.

It is not easy to cross the river on a ropeway, but  the boy is not _______.

The students and villagers want to have a bridge.  Can their dream(梦想) __________?

Suppose you are Liangliang. Let Ss try to write a  letter to a newspaper to ask for help.

Step 3 Emotional education

Step 4 Homework

Write a letter to Liangliang,tell him about how you get to school and what you  can do for him.

1.结合生活实际谈论学生的到校方式,复习巩固了本单元知识储备,为下面的学习任务做好准备。

2.利用游戏激发了学生的兴趣,

利用图片设置问题,学习相关生词,为略读做准备。 

略读课文,了解短文主要内容;通过观看视频和图片,学习生词,扫除阅读障碍。

让学生分段读课文,既加深了对文意的理解,又巩固学生对于新的语言表达结构的理解和记忆。为读后评价部分的文章复述任务打好基础。并且借助思维导图帮学生理解课文中重难点句子,直观形象,便于学生理解。

通过课文内容的听力训练,不仅进一步理解课文的细节,也训练了学生的听力。 

复述短文实际上是学生对语言的再次组织和运用,实现语言学习的最终目的---学以致用。 

通过掌握的短文信息和掌握的语言,完成写作的任务。培养写作能力的同时,感受了文中小孩上学的困难。

通过本课的学习和观看视频,让学生懂珍惜现在的生活,懂的必须努力学习,帮助他人。

学情分析

本节课是校际公开课,学生已经学习过本单元,了解并掌握了本单元的内容,所以对本节课的教学内容进行了增减,本节公开课教学重点设置为:让学生熟练地运用本单元的句型和短语进,教育学生如何与人礼貌的沟通;通过谈论家务,学做家务,体会父母劳动的艰辛。
